Epson 5010 projector. Projector arrived on time. Setup was easy, and no adjustments were required for a truly superb picture, both HD and 3D. Visual Apex, the vendor, has provided great follow-up to make sure everything was perfect with my purchase. I definitely would recommend this vendor and will use them for future purchases.

Epson 5010 projector package. Wow! What a great projector. This is my second home theater, as I recently sold my house and it stayed with the new owners. In fact, the home theater was a major selling point and made the difference when they were deciding between two houses.
I also want to point out what a great screen you include with your package. This was very easy to assemble, and far superior to the one I have in my previous place. Your service is great, I got my package in 3 days and couldn't be happier with either the Epson 5010, or Visual Apex. Thanks!

Very impressed with Visual Apex.
About three weeks ago I purchased an Epson PowerLite 5010 Home Cinema Projector from Visual Apex. The company was offering a particularly good deal and while I usually prefer the comfort of an Amazon.com purchase I decided to give Visual Apex a try. Their service was amazing! My projector arrived in just a few days in perfect condition and works beautifully. Visual Apex kept me informed of every step in the process from order confirmation to shipment tracking. They even followed up with a very nice email to be sure that everything was working to my satisfaction.
Based on my experience, Visual Apex is a great company and well worth trusting and patronizing.

It was a close thing, the Home Cinema 5010 projector arrived less than a week before Thanksgiving, with another review (Acer already started). Despite that, we managed to get about 75% of the review posted the night before Thanksgiving. -art
Update, 1/20/2012: Epson replaced the original pre-production Home Cinema 5010 projector, with a full production one. The new one is visibly sharper, impressively so. It is sharper than the JVC RS45 I'm currently reviewing at the time of this update. The rest of the review is not updated to reflect this improvement. [ Read entire review]

I purchased an Epson 5010 projector and accessories from Visual Apex in December 2011. The equipment arrived in excellent condition as per the special shipping instructions arranged with Mari Michael. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. The online information, including manuals, VA videos, and reviews, were very helpful in getting me up to speed. Installation went without a hitch (replaced an existing DLP projector) and I am thoroughly enjoying the system. Visual Apex proved to be the right vendor to meet all my home theater projector needs. Their website was easy to navigate and products easy to find. The order and payment process, including the option to use my Amazon payment method, was great. It made the whole feeling more comfortable to buy from an online vendor for the first time. I am very happy I chose to work with you.

Extremely helpful and responsive.
I purchased Epson 3D Powerlite Home Cinema 5010 for our home theatre room. I needed to get the equipement quickly as I wanted it in place for Holiday company and, of course, I waited until the last minute to purchase. Visual Apex was extremely helpful. I received my ordern confirmation and projected delivery dates and called them to make sure the items would deliver when they projected. They were extremely responsive. In the case of 3D glasses I ordered, they were on back order and they assured me that they would be available by the time I needed them. They called me back on the day they came into their warehouse to let me know that had been received as expected and would be shipped out to me that night. I could not have been more pleased with this level of customer service. After the holidays, I got another call from them to see if I had had any problem installing or using the equipment. Who does that these days?! I was both floored and pleased. Thank you Visual Apex!

The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 5010 is Epson's brand new 3D 1080p projector for home theater. Like the Home Cinema 8700 UB, the 5010 has impressive contrast and very high maximum lumen output. This allows the projector to fill large screens in dark rooms or effectively combat ambient light in living rooms and other shared spaces.
Where the Home Cinema 3010 was a bit of a departure for Epson, the 5010 is a return to form. The projector's 2.1:1 zoom lens and extensive H/V lens shift give it some of the best placement flexibility in its price class, while Frame Interpolation and Super Resolution both add subtle enhancements to an already great image.
