Epson is coming on stronger than ever this fall in the home theater market. The least expensive of their new 1080p models is the Home Cinema 8100. The next step up is the Home Cinema 8500 UB, with more features and higher contrast, at $2,999. We've seen but have not yet tested the Home Cinema 8500 UB, but in the demos we've seen it looks like a very strong unit. Assuming it is as strong at its price point as the 8100 is at $1,599, these two models together represent an aggressive competitive move unlike anything we've seen previously from Epson. They may turn out to be the most potent price/performers ever unleashed by Epson in the home theater market. [Read entire review]

Will definitely buy from VA in the future.
We ordered an Epson 8100 Projector package that included a vapex screen, fixed frame, projector ceiling mount, HDMI cables, and calibration software. The frame looks great around the screen- it has a nice, thick black border, which I prefer to the thinner borders. The projector throws a very nice picture - the colors and images are still very vibrant and clear even with the lights turned on, which I did not expect. The mount worked perfect for the projector. Honestly, this package was the perfect one for my media room and I am extremely happy with it. I will definitely buy from visual apex again in the future. Not only was the price amazing, but the quality and customer service were great, too. Delivery time was as promised and all parts were intact. Extremely impresseed with VA
I recently purchased an Epson 8100 projector and a 92" Elite Cine-tension 2 projector screen. Prior to my purchase, I exchanged some e-mails requesting purchasing assistance. The response time was amazingly quick, within a few minutes. It was practically instant messaging. I placed my order and within a few days, I had my new screen and projector. I received a follow up e-mail checking on my purchase. Visual Apex's customer service could be a model for extraordinary customer service . I highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchased home theater equipment. You will be extremely impressed with the people tht work there.

Fantastic customer service. The shipper damaged my Epson 8100 projector, not VisualApex's fault, but they sprang into action and replaced it fast with a brand new one in perfect condition. I spoke to terrific, competent folks who were concerned and motivated to help me. It was a great experience. Highly recommended.

Best shopping experience on the net.
I've wanted a projector for a long time. I was browsing through Best Buy and happen to come across the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8100. I was very impressed by its features at its price point.
Knowing I would be able to find it online for a lot cheaper, I Google' d it. My search result brought up Visual Apex on projectorcentral.com
I read up the great review they had on this site explaining all of the projector features in detail. I especially loved the fact that I was able to see different pictures of the projector in action in its different settings. It allowed me to compare it to some of its competitors at this price point and based on the picture quality shown on the site, to me this was the clear winner.
When I first ordered, these were on back order. I was notified of this before I placed the order. I was willing to wait because I was told this would ship sometime in January ( my order was placed in December) which was fine with me as long as I had it before the Super Bowl. In the middle of January I got an email from Visual Apex, notifying me that everything I had ordered was shipped. Everything arrived as described and on the day that the email stated it would arrive.
Everything was packaged neatly, well protected. It did turn out that they had forgotten to ship the mount so I gave them a call and I had that part the very next day. I was kind of surprised as I thought I would perhaps get it a few days later.
So overall my purchasing experience with Visual Apex has been as pleasant as can be. Everything was top notch, from the service to the products. I highly recommend you use this site to purchase anything and everything related to your projector needs.
I usually never leave feedback for anything, but since this was my best shopping experience on the net, I think i owe them a review.
GREAT JOB. Will shop here again.

Thank you VA!
i looked all over for an Epson 8100 projector because that's what my husband decided he wanted for Christmas, and the best I could find was Visual Apex was willing to let me pre-order one, so I did. They didn't charge my card, but did confirm that they had my order on file. I kept checking and Visual Apex was the first to get any in. When the status of availability on the site was shipments arriving, I called and a lady named April told me which shipment my projector would be on and when it was expected. She notified me when that shipment left Epson, and when it was delayed by weather, again when it was shipping to me, which was when the charged my card. The projector was at my door three days later, and what a marvelous projector it is. We have an 8ft projection so clear I can't believe it. Now I believe my husband that this was what we had to have.

Recommend Visual Apex.
Visual Apex did a good job for our family. I ordered a Panasonic 1080i unit for a 19' throw for a new house we moved into. The unit arrived with the usual shipping scrapes and punctures, but to my relief, it was double boxed and the inner container was not breached. Panasonic's manual was easy and setup was a snap. I surprised the family with a Christmas Eve showing of It's a Wonderful Life. I only had one question by email and they promptly answered it.
