Panasonic PT-AE8000U Projector
The Panasonic PT-AE8000U projector was developed with a set of specifications designed to recreate a movie director’s artistic visions and dramatic presentation in a home theater setting. The Panasonic projector engineers have taken this challenge head on and redesigned the PT-7000U to achieve an even higher projection quality, enter the Panasonic PT-AE8000U. The PT8000U projector’s 3D system has also been developed to the same high standards and Panasonic has literally set the bar with developing 3D industry standards. So what this means for the home theater enthusiast is that this Panasonic Projector is state of the art, and will help recreate the movie directors original visions and movie experience in your own home.
Picture Quality
The new Panasonic PT-AE8000U is loaded with upgrades. One of the first is the 2,400 lumen Red-Rich lamp, which increases the luminous efficiency and creates a higher brightness while maintaining Color purity. The next upgrade is the Full-HD optimized optical system with 16 lens elements to assure maximum image sharpness and clarity. So couple these features with 480 Hz LCD panels, a 500,000:1 contrast ratio, Pure Color Filter Pro, Dynamic Iris Pro, Smooth Screen Technology and Seven picture modes, the PT-AE8000U projector delivers.
A New Level of Home Theater 3D
The PT-AE8000U’s 3D panels have been increased from 240Hz to 480Hz, which increases the length of time the shutter is open, which increases the images brightness and cuts down on the image cross talk, which all adds up to a great 3D image. The Panasonic engineers have also thrown in a Dual Core processor to work with Frame Creation 2 to improve motion blur.
Custom Settings and Flexibility
So if the advancements in picture quality were not enough, the AE-8000U has a lens memory that can store up to 6 settings for 2D and 3D movies, a 2X optical power zoom with lens shift, advanced gamma adjustment and 3 HDMI terminals that support Deep Color and the x.v.Color color space. Now if that is not enough, Panasonic tops it off with a lamp that has an estimated 5,000 hour replacement cycle and a VIERA Link to cut down on your remotes if your other home theater components have VIERA Link.
