Panasonic PT-AR100U Q & A:
Q: I am buying the PT-AR100U to replace the PT-L300U that I bought from Visual Apex ten years ago. (It was great!) This unit is much larger (19 lbs. compared to only 6.4 lbs.) Can I use the same ceiling mount (RPA Series LCD/DLP Ceiling Mount by Chief Manufacturing and SLB-225 Hanger bracket) that I purchased from Visual Apex? Asked on 6/14/2013 by LSK Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Dear LSK, Thank you for contacting Visual Apex regarding your mount question. The Chief SLB-225 Hanger Bracket will not work with this much larger projector. You may still use the RPA portion of the ceiling mount and purchase the SLB-U Hanger Bracket. This way you will be future proofed for any new purchases. We are able to get that bracket for you. Very impressed with Visual Apex.
I was in the market for an hd projector, and I wanted to buy the Panasonic pt-ar100u. After searching all over the internet, visual apex seemed to have the best price available. My new projector was delivered only 3 days after i placed the order. On top of that the projector was very well packaged and I received both a phone call and an e-mail after It was delivered to ensure everything was satisfactory with my purchase. I am very impressed with visual apex and will be doing business with them again soon.

Panasonic AR100 Projector. This projector blows my mind. The colors are fantastic, super bright yet can be controlled for a dark room. As in other reviews the contrast is a bit on the grey shade and not quite black but I adjusted as per Projector Central settings and is real good. VisualApex was great with shipping and after sales service.

Panasonic's second new 1080p projector this year, the PT-AR100U, caters to fans of home entertainment by combining a bright 2800 lumen output with a sharp 1080p image that is both high in contrast and almost perfectly color balanced right out of the box. The AR100U is designed for any multi-use room, as it functions as a home theater projector almost as well as it does as a home entertainment projector. With the lights on, its Light Harmonizer adjusts color to compensate for room lighting conditions. With the lights off, the AR100U does not show quite as well as home theater projectors in its price range, but still holds its own. While the AR100U lacks 3D capability and frame interpolation, it does include a 2.0:1 manual zoom lens and horizontal and vertical lens shift. The AR100U has an official street price of $1,499.
