Introducing the PLC-XW250, offering educators outstanding cost performance with an eco stand-by power mode that uses a mere 0.4 watts and exclusive "Easy Setup Function". This projector is extremely easy to operate and offers advanced features such as wired LAN management – making it perfect for educators.

Using a mere 0.4 watts, the PLC-XW250 is SANYO's most ecological data projector. The eco power stand-by mode saves about 80% of the energy that is consumed by similar previous SANYO projectors. By redesigning the electrical circuits, the PLC-XW250 projector is able to comply with the EuP-Directive Lot 6 and the EU RoHS Directive. As an additional environmental measure, all the packaging contains pulp molds, which can be recycled as used paper.

The Sanyo PLC-XW250 projector also incorporates SANYO's latest "Easy Setup Function", which includes Auto Input Signal Search, Auto Vertical Keystone Correction, and an Input Guidance Function. The Auto Input Signal Search automatically detects the input signal and makes the necessary internal settings. The Auto Vertical Keystone Correction function automatically detects its position angle and corrects for any image distortion. And finally, the Guidance Function displays on-screen connection instructions when there is no input signal detected, enabling easy setup for expert users and novices alike.

Using the supplied wired LAN terminal (RJ-45), the PLC-XW250 can be controlled and managed via network connection. The LAN connection offers settings for power on/off, switching input signals, projecting from a remote location, as well as for monitoring lamp conditions and usage time. An automatic maintenance notification function sends notices to preset email addresses in the event of projector problems, resulting in faster maintenance response time. Using SANYO’s PJ Network Manager software, it's possible to centrally monitor operating conditions of up to 200 projectors on a single network, reducing multiple projector management time.


Sanyo Warranty Quick Repair Program

Sanyo is committed to ensuring that its LCD Projector products perform superbly. Sanyo is also committed to customer satisfaction. In the unlikely event that any Sanyo LCD projector that is covered by the original warranty fails to operate properly due to a manufacturing defect, the unit is eligible for Sanyo's Quick Repair Program (QRP).

Program Features

• First it is necessary to determine if the unit requires service or if the problem can be easily corrected without sending in the unit. Check the FAQ section on Sanyo's Web site. If the answer to your problem is not indicated there, you may call Visual Apex or call Sanyo toll free at 888.337.1215 for additional assistance.
• Once it has been determined by Sanyo technical offices that the projector needs service, you will be faxed or e-mailed a QRP authorization number and instructions where and how to send the unit.
• Sanyo will provide you with a Federal Express number so that you can overnight the malfunctioning unit - Sanyo pays the freight!
• After the unit is received at Sanyo, they will repair it and return it to you in 24-72 hours (typically). Most of the projectors received are repaired and sent back within 48 hours. However, Sanyo can not guarantee this turn around.
