I purchased an Epson 8350 on cyber Monday which was a replacement for a Sanyo projector that I purchased from them several years ago. I have been fortunate to have never had a service issue with the equipment nor my orders from Visual Apex. In both cases, the order was filled expeditiously, shipped on time and arrived in good condition.
Panasonic PTAEU7000 projector. This was the second projector I purchased from Visual Apex (VA). In short they are low-priced, very fast, and amazingly "human" to deal with. I have no affiliation with VA other than having purchased two projectors from them over the last 4 years.
I went there the first time for the price via the web. I was a bit hesitant to use the web for such a "fragile" and expensive purchase. Those fears are long gone. I came back for both the price and the outstanding customer service. I was not disappointed.
A few hours after I submitted my order I realized Panasonic started a promotion that had changed the price. The folks at VA took my call and listened to my issue (and request for the lower price). They said they had to talk to Panasonic and would get back to me by 2pm tomorrow: which worried me. Too many customer service people these days recite from policy manuals. Based on experience with other companies I was concerned such a call would not happen or it would happen but they already knew the outcome would be "no" and were just stalling. I regret my cynicism. By the next day (before 2pm) I had an email from VA with a credit message and that was followed up with a phone call. The calls were more like talking to family members than "distant" customer service people. They were honest about what things would happen,how things work "behind the scenes", what the potential outcomes would be and why some different scenario's might play out. It was genuine and logical. In the end I was happy with the decision but as happy with their effort and their manner of being my advocate. I just don't feel I get that type of representation from (m)any companies.
None of this slowed the delivery. I received a Panasonic projector, a Visual apex brand 106" screen, projector mount, and some DVD's. It was all great stuff and arrived fast (on time for my family Christmas party!). I had everything together and mounted the same day. The 3D projector is awesome and it looks perfect on the VA screen. We watched Polar Express and an Imax Dinosaur movie so far. The thick black frame of the screen is beautiful and makes one really feel like he is at THE theater, not just watching a big movie.
These guys are great. I wouldn't say any of this if it wasn't true. I will go back to them first for future needs.

Very pleased with the purchase of my Epson 8700 at Visual Apex. Was steered away from pricier projector by Ken, whose knowledgeable advice was invaluable. Fair price and fast dependable service. The package came in just perfect. Highly recommended. Already enjoying it.

I was new to the whole projector thing. I read many threads on avsforum and finally decided to go with Visual Apex. They were helpful, informative and everything shipped quickly. I've had the entire system up and running for about a month. I could not be happier. I do have a manufacture issue with the Epson 8350, but this in no way affects my esperience with Visual Apex, and Epson is replacing my projector with a new one. I highly recommend Visual Apex.

All the equipment arrived in good condition and easy to set-up/working w/o any problems.
Since the theater package came in several shipments, sould have paid cafeful attention to the supplemental data on the invoice. After an e-mail from VA highlighting the info, had no problems tracking the shipments. The web site is easy to use and even phoned once for additional information; the convesation went very well.
This was my first experience with VA, and was very successful. I will use VA again.

I ordered an Epson projector package from Visualapex after researching many other sites. They had great pricing, and the most helpful staff I have dealt with in a long time. I ended up buying the package with screen and extras because I was going to buy most of the items separately anyway. The combo package simplified my life greatly. The screen went together easily and looks so great. The projector is being shipped soon and I expect to be wowed by it like the other quality products. The cables are high end, and I ordered many extra as much of my equipment is in another room of the house. Thanks for all your help guys!!!!
