I ordered the PT-AE3000u projector from Visual Apex and couldn't be happier! I was stunned how quickly the order was processed. About 2 hours after I order, I had a tracking number. Keep up the great work Visual Apex.
I usually don’t comment on purchases that I’ve made, but my recent experience with another online vendor warrants a few comments. Originally, I ordered the Panasonic PT-AE3000U projector from Digital Megastore. After several weeks of frustrating calls to their customer service department, I cancelled the order and decided to purchase the projector from Visual Apex. It was the best decision I've every made. Visual Apex delivered the projector to me in a very timely manner. 5-6 days from when I placed the order. There website provided very accurate product information, especially when it came to item availability. Visual Apex charged my credit card after sending me valid confirmation that the projector shipped, which was something I had to fight Digital Megastore on for charging me on something that they never shipped. My projector arrived in excellent condition.
I am very pleased I purchased from Visual Apex. I will definitely look towards Visual Apex for any future purchases I might have. The amateurs at Digital Megastore could learn something from Visual Apex's professionalism and excellent business practices.

Highly recommended!
I spent a lot of time reviewing home theater equipment and sources. I saw good reviews about Visual Apex and they had the best pricing. I was particularly interested in the Panasonic AE 3000. They were the first to drop the price (Nov 08), and by a lot. Shipping was free. Response was immediate. Much to my surprise I had follow up E-mail, not an auto response, from a real person (Alice) to make sure everything was OK with the order I received. She actually sent me two E-mails, each one personally composed. They redefined customer service for me relative to an Internet store. This encouraged me to buy a screen and some cables from Visual Apex, which was a spectacular bargain because of the additional discount when ordering multiple accessories. The screen took a little longer to get because it was ordered from the factory, but the order confirmation and response was very fast. Best price, very fast, and best service. Highly recommended.

I am very impressed.
I purchased a PT-L300U Panasonic projector from Visual Apex about 4 years ago. Since I never had a problem, I forgot about them and watched movies for 4 years. When pgrading to Blu-Ray, I wanted a HD projector and chose a PT-AE3000U Panasonic. I looked on the Internet for the best combination of price, and goodies (heavy duty mount, 25-ft HDMI cable and calibration Blu-Ray disk). I found Visual Apex. Only then did I check and find out they were my first supplier. Every thing was delivered as expected and worked. The cable was back ordered for two days, so I went and bought the best I could find locally - it turned out to be identical to what I got from Visual Apex. I am impressed and very happy.

I purchased a Panasonic AE3000U package through Visual Apex with an Elite EZ-Frame 106" screen. Visual Apex's price was competitive if not better than others I found. I read a lot of great reviews before I purchased through them and I see why they are highly rated. My packages arrived within a week or so of ordering (across the country via ground takes a while). Highly recommend VA.
I did a lot of research before choosing a projector and visual apex. My previous projector was a CRT model. I waited for LCD technology to near the black levels of my old Mitsubishi CRT PJ. Well the day came. I had decided on a Panasonic PT-AE3000U due to its great color accuracy, low digital noise, and outstanding black levels. But who to buy from was a question I had not resolved. I was leaning toward projector people due their friendly and personal web page, but as I read some e-tailer reviews I saw an overwhelming number of HT enthusiasts choosing Visual Apex. After reading more about VA, I decided to give them a try. I ordered on a Sunday and paid extra for 2-day shipping. I had taken vacation based on the fact my PJ would arrive on time.
On Monday I got an email from “April” at Visual Apex (VA) explaining there was an issue with my credit card. CHASE does this when they see purchases that are higher than normal on a card which is real annoying and makes me feel safe at the same time. :)
So I called CHASE. Then Visual Apex. VA's "April" and 2 sales people were contacted via phone. All were very kind and responsive in getting my order processed before the shipping deadline on Monday. It took 3 calls to Chase MC to get them to fix the issue on their end, but Visual Apex was ready and waiting for the green light. My sale was final 15 minutes before the cut off and it shipped that day. The success was a direct result of the fast acting employees at Visual Apex.
(TIP: Call your CC provider before ordering and let them know you are making a large purchase. It will save you some headaches.)
My Panasonic AE3000 arrived exactly on the day specified with a small dent in the side of the carton but because Visual Apex double boxed the projector, the internal wall of the inner carton was not breached and my projector was in perfect shape.
That night I connected my new Projector to a blu-ray player and fired it up. The projector worked perfectly. Brightness sharpness, image clarity, and color were everything I had hoped for and more. I made a couple of minor adjustments but to be honest it was awesome right out of the box. The normal mode is bright and color is very accurate to my very critical eye. Skin tones are awesome right out of the box. Grayscale was great! snow landscapes are white. Not blueish or redish, but white as they should be. Skin tones are natural and nust right. I love the many features including the ability to program in cinemascope and other aspect ratios.
If you are looking at Home theater projectors, I would recommend Visual Apex. VA was responsive and fast in helping me.

I recently purchased a Panasonic PT-AE3000 from Visual Apex. I rarely write reviews or leave feedback. So, when I do, I mean it.
My experience with Visual Apex was excellent. My sales person was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He never once tried to push or sell anything other than what I was interested in. My projector arrived in perfect condition and on time. Additionally, a representative from Visual Apex contacted personally after the sale to ensure that I was totally satisfied with my purchase. I've been in the customer service industry for many years and a personal phone call is going above & beyond. I am very pleased with my projector and the service I received from Visual Apex. I purchased a Panasonic PT-AE3000U and 100-inch screen from Apex. The transaction was smooth, because I paid heed to the warning that they would not ship to an address not listed on your credit card. I called the credit card company in advance and added the address. Service was exemplary, and both items arrived promptly. A free cover for the projector was included. I have since purchased an additional screen, and called for advice. The phone was answered promptly, and the salesperson was very knowledgeable. Three cheers for Visual Apex.
I recently purchased a Panasonic Projector AE-3000U from Visual Apex, and in all respects, the service provided by this company was absolutely
exemplary, as has been my experience in the past.
Before I go further, I might mention my qualifications as a reviewer: studied EE at Purdue, started designing and building speaker enclosures and systems, as well as specific electronic applications (such as an LED VU Meter,
complete with range and other switchers)at age 14, am director of a documentary/event videography company for 16 years, and have been designing home theaters for myself and many others for 24 years (yes, I know, before there was "home theater"!)
I present the foregoing only to assert substance for my admiration and support of Visual Apex. The Panasonic Projector was ONLY my second purchase from VA, but I have advised dozens of my customers, especially regarding purchase of products for home theater, products ranging from projectors to sound systems. And without exception, my customers have found that VA's promises of product availability, delivery, and (if needed) service have been outstandingD!
Now specifically, in regard to my most recent purchase, the Panasonic AE 3000U, VA provided the unit at a very competitive price (compared to other reliable companies), and delivered the product in a timely manner, as promised.
Then the fun began, from a service standpoint - and to cut to the chase, VA REALLY CAME THRU, generally beating down the competition, in comparison to similar issues!!!!!
The Panasonic AE 3000U was purchased as a replacement for a Panasonic AE 1000U, to be installed in one of my Home Theaters, with the only change a swap out of the newer for the older unit. Well, two hours after installation, I began to have problems, the sort of which I have NEVER had with any other projector (including Panasonics, Sonys, Pioneers, and a
Barcovision 900). I began to loose the picture,
in what I thought was a completely random fashion (though I found out otherwise, later). On what seemed to be a random basis, I lost the picture in time periods ranging from one half second to four seconds.
Suspecting a bad projector bulb, but having no experience with something similar, I called Visual Apex's Service Department and talked with David. Now, as you can tell from some of the forgoing I take pride in my technical wherewithall, but I must tell you that I was in awe of David's apparent knowledge, understanding,
and application to my issue! First, he gave an apparently well-informed opinion about the unlikelihood of the bulb being defective, given the symptoms. He then provided a series of alternative configurations to progressively sort out the problem, such as trying out alternate Blu-Ray Players (I have several), operating the picture directly from a player to the projector,
without the receiver in the loop, etc., etc. Finally, as the gold standard test to determine if the projector was at fault, he suggested a direct HDMI cable (proven in other applications)
be run between a proven player and the projector.
I had thought of all of his suggestions, prior to my conversation with him, but what I am mightily impressed with is that he came up with them, and that he had a genuine, (if you'll forgive the expression) in depth understanding of so many related issues. This kind of broad knowledge is so abysmally absent in so many of Visual Apex's competitors. So, you can see the reason for my own personal enthusiasm for Visual Apex.
By the way, the problem of the Panasonic was NOT any problem of Panasonic. It was related to an HDMI cable, but not the fault of the cable. The problem was the blasted, incompetent design and specification of the HDMI cable, and specifically the plug and socket, mandated by the grotesques of the blasted HDMI consortium.
In any event, here was the problem! The Panasonic AE 3000U was mounted on a ceiling, using the outrageously priced ($470) Panasonic ET-PKE1000S official ceiling mount bracket, just as had been the case with the previous Panasonic AE 1000U. The in ceiling HDMI cable running from
a Denon Receiver to the projector was a 57 foot long heavy duty HDMI cable, used for two years without issue with the previous projector.
I tried one of David's suggested tests, running the signal from the new to the market Panasonic BD35 over a proven 7 foot Blue Jeans cable directly to one, and then another of the Panasonic projector's three HDMI sockets. Nary a problem! So then, I hooked up the ceiling running 57 foot Blue Jeans cable, and the same picture drop-out began again. THEN I began to notice that whenever the theater's speakers produced substantial bass, the picture sometimes went out momentarily (This particular theater has one turbocharged HSU and a 15 inch Velodyne sub). One additional point, the heavy duty Blue Jeans cable comes out of the ceiling, and in its path to the socket on the back of the Panasonic Projector, a cramped space (occasioned by the installation of the standard Panasonic cable cover) requires a relatively sharp bend in the HDMI cable. AH HA you say that's obviously the
problem, and you're right!!!!!!!! The torque (in this instance, horizontal versus vertical) causes one of those blasted delicate 19 connectors to momentarily fail when disturbed
by the easy resonance in that cable cover.
The easy solution - attach a smaller diameter, more flexible Blue Jeans cable to the terminus of
the current 57 foot heavy duty cable - same radius in the bend of the replacement cable, but
not so much torque on the socket/plug = no problem!
End of long, long story.
Three cheers for Visual Apex, Panasonic, and Blue Jeans, and no comment about the HDMI organization.

I purchased a Panasonic PT-AE3000U and Peerless mount from Visual Apex. My projector was part of their first shipment from Panasonic and because of that, my order was delayed. However, the folks at Visual Apex were excellent to deal with. When Visual Apex billed me, my credit card company tried to protect me from internet fraud and denied the transaction; the people at Visual Apex alerted me immediately and we had the situation resolved within minutes. Everything arrived in tip-top shape. I only wish Peerless' universal mounting bracket was a better fit for the Projector.

She actually sent me two E-mails, each one personally composed. They redefined customer service for me relative to an Internet store. This encouraged me to buy a screen and some cables from Visual Apex, which was a spectacular bargain because of the additional discount when ordering multiple accessories. The screen took a little longer to get because it was ordered from the factory, but the order confirmation and response was very fast. Highly recommended.

I purchased a Panasonic 3000 PT AE3000U projector from Visual Apex. I found projector on NextTag and tracked the price on several suppliers for at least a month before it got down to my budget.
